Weekly Training Log - April 22nd through April 28th

After running Boston, I took two full days off last week then took an easy run on the third day.  I think that I am 95% recovered but still didn't push anything that hard this week.  I am dealing with an ankle that is a bit weak - and am seeing a doctor Thursday for it (send positive thoughts).

Other than that, I have been feeling pretty strong on the bike and just cant wait to get out there and see where my cycling is in a race.  Summer Open Tri is in 3 weeks and I am looking very forward to it!

Overall volume was low to average this week and I would like to step up running to 40-45 next week with at least 175 miles on the bike.  I guess we will see if that happens.  Happy training and happy spring!

Run: 37 miles
Bike: 147.6 miles

I turned 30 on Monday.  After celebrating last weekend, it was a nice quiet day and a good quiet dinner with my wife and son.

NFL Draft was this week.  Awesome even though it doesn't compare to last year.

It's feeling spring like after quite a bit of cold/snow in Boulder.  Still no real progress on the tree buds, but hopefully we will see some this week.
