Weekly Training Log: Week of March 23rd, 2015 - Week #10: Moving forward

In Life: Spring is still treating us very well here in Boulder.  The weather has been glorious and the longer days are awesome.

I purchased a new cruiser bike for Beth and BBQ number one of 2015 was done on Saturday over at my in-laws place.

In Training:  My swim feels pretty good.  I am still swimming very low yardage, but very consistently.  I am able to get in 1k plus per day over my super short lunch period from work and it's getting the job done.

The bike is good.  I hit a new hour record wattage during a workout on Sunday - 282w AP.  I would estimate that my FTP is around 295w right now.  I'm cool with that.

The run is eh.  Not great, but holding together.  I have not focused much on this in training over the past few months.  I will see how this treats me in NOLA in a few weeks.  I'm hoping increased bike focus will help aid in a good run.  I would like to run a 1:22 - 1:24 there.

Weekly Totals:
Swim: 7,300 yds
Bike: 641 TSS - 8+ hours on trainer/outside
Run: 32 miles

Got Beth a new cruiser.  The whole bike cost less than half of what my racing saddle did.
