Weekly Training Log: Week of December 21st, 2015 - Week #1: Mele Kalikimaka!

In Training:  We headed back to Maui for our two week break for Christmas on Saturday.  Being in Maui has become time where I can sneak in some good training while having a good time with my family and have a nice balance of sorts.  I took the bike and all my stuff to set up for a few weeks of unstructured training in the sun.

It was my highest run milage week since Ironman Chattanooga in September, and all was structurally good.  I had so many sub 30 mile weeks in the past few months, but will change that over January and February.  All swims were out in the bay in front of my parents place.  That was awesome.

Happy last full week of 2015 - Ill kick off my training log for 2016 now.

In Life:  It was Christmas week in Maui.  What more can I really say.  Pictures below for a little bit of the happenings of the past week.

Swim: 4450 yds -  All open water
Bike: 168 miles - First outdoor miles since IM Arizona
Run: 45.3 miles

Christmas Eve

I regret crossing my legs for this.  This is our spot to watch the sunset.

I got my kid a few speedos for christmas.  He opened some gifts with it on.  #PROUD.

Another proud moment

Aiden took to snorkeling right away.  The kid loved it.
