Weekly Training Log: Week of May 13th

I had finals for college classes last week and was glad to get in a few good miles (well under optimal though).  I had 3!? total days off last week and am marking it as a recovery week. The days I was out training, things felt good and I was productive.
Boise 70.3 is now 2.5 weeks away and I am interested to see where I am at.  I think that IMKY (and Kona) will be my true "A" race this season, and I have a nice 3 months till then.  I absolutely can't wait to race the 140.6 distance!
The week ended up with my college graduation on Sunday.  I was blessed to have my family from MN - Erin, Kyle, River, and Autumn out to help me celebrate...  It's only taken 12 years, and may not have been the most traditional way to earn a degree, but I am happy with personal accomplishments from my time since high school.

Also, spring/summer is here in Boulder and I am absolutely loving every minute of it.  This spot on earth is an absolute paradise from May through October.  I really do love where I am from.

Run: 28 miles
Bike: 137 miles

Stepping up my game.  First time I have used latex tubes.

My cousin Brian was in town for a very short time.  We had lunch at Zolo's in Boulder on Thursday

My sisters family was in town, we all had dinner at Jax on Saturday night.

This is my sister Erin and myself.  She will be graduating with her Doctorate in ED next Saturday.

I never dreamed of having a wife and child by the time I graduated.  I wouldn't have it any other way.
